Automated shades make controlling light and privacy easy. Shades can be programmed to function if you are in or out of town. You can control sunlight at peak hours by just creating scenes in an app.

2. GET A FEEL FOR IT

Texture is a very popular trend right now. Clients like shades that can add to the decor in their homes. Woven shades and roller shades offer a tremendous amount of material selections to accomplish this.

3. KEEP IT CLEAN

The opposite of texture would be clean and simple. Some clients prefer to keep it simple and functional. Plantation shutters are a great product for this option. They are like built-in furniture for your windows and they easily control light and privacy.

With the large windows and many days of sunlight here in the Lowcountry, sunlight protection is so important. Solar shades are a great solution. They block UV rays but also help maintain your great views. While they are a great option inside homes, they are also wonderful on porches.
